I've been there. I'm perusing the aisles at an arts and crafts show and I don't give the seasoning vendors a single look because "I don't cook". While that is still true (my husband is the cook - I am the baker), I can tell you that whatever you are making at home, no matter how simple or complex, our salts and seasonings can enhance your dishes.


This blog post is for those of us whose talents lie elsewhere than in the kitchen. We can follow recipes, but don't like overcomplicating things. We might like simplicity, but we do like our food to taste good!


The following are some super simple and specific ways (from personal experience AND from our customers) to use our seasonings.


  • Do you like popcorn? I enjoy popping some popcorn, spraying on avocado oil, then sprinkling our seasonings on it! I personally love Zesty Italian, Taco Tuesday, and Italian Black Truffle. I've been told the Habanero salt is also good!

  • Our seasonings can make any vegetable pop! Try our most popular blend - the Mediterranean Basil Salt - on ANY vegetable and watch it disappear from plates (and not to the pup hiding under the table)!

  • Cooked the ground beef (or chicken or turkey) for your taco night but didn't know what seasonings to combine or forgot to add them completely? Sprinkle our Taco Tuesday on your protein and veggies of choice and voila!

  • Craving a Bloody Mary but have no idea how to make one? Neither do I! I did have hubby's help with this one. If you have a can of tomato juice (5.5oz), some vodka (1oz), and our Spicy Mediterranean Basil Salt (1 tsp; then add to taste), throw it all together in a glass and enjoy! Simple and yummy!

  • Want to elevate a dish? Do you like the flavor of truffle? Carefully add (a little goes a long way) our Italian Black Truffle Salt to red meats after cooking, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and more to bring that dish to the next level (and impress your guests!).

  • Turkey sub need something extra? Sprinkle our Maple & Spice seasoning on it and enjoy the sweet and savory combination!

  • Want to feel fancy? Head to your local grocery store and pick up some fresh artisan bread of your choice (be sure you pay for it - stores frown upon just walking out with groceries). At home, grab a shallow bowl, pour some olive oil in it, then add some seasoning to it (my favorite is a combination of our Zesty Italian and Italian Black Truffle). Toast up that bread, slab some butter on it, then dip it in your freshly-made dipping oil!

  • Watching your carbs and calories? Ugh, I am too. Combine 4 ounces of olive oil, 2 ounces of balsamic vinegar, and a teaspoon of your favorite seasoning of ours (mine is Mediterranean Basil Salt, Zesty Italian, and Italian Black Truffle Salt. Shake it up and congratulate yourself! You've just made a low-carb, low-cal dressing! GO YOU. Use it on salads (including a divine caprese salad (tomato, mozzarella cheese, and basil)), chicken, and more!

  • I LOVE me some corn on the cob! You know what makes it even better? Our seasonings! My favorite is the Mediterranean Basil Salt closely followed by Spicy Mediterranean Basil Salt closely followed by Taco Tuesday! Boil your corn, rub some butter on it, then sprinkle on your seasoning. AMAZING.
