Ingredients:

Family Pack of Chicken Thighs (Boneless, Skinless)

Newman's Own Garlic Vinaigrette & Marinade (enough to coat all chicken)

1.5 TBSP Zesty Italian Seasoning (Mediterranean Basil Salt)

2 TBSP butter or tallow for sauteing


Directions:

  1. Prepare the marinade. Whisk together the Newman's Own Garlic Vinaigrette & Marinade and MBS Zesty Italian seasoning in a bowl.

  2. Pour marinade over the chicken ensuring each piece is well coated. Marinate at least 15 minutes or up to two hours for deeper flavor.

  3. Heat butter or tallow in a sauté pan or cast-iron saucepan on high until sizzling (but not smoking).

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and add to hot butter/tallow. Pour any excess marinade on immediately. Brown on one side (approximately 4-5 minutes). Stir chicken around so it does not stick.

  5. Flip chicken thighs.

  6. Turn heat to medium-low heat and saute for 10 minutes. TIP: cover the pan for about 4 minutes to seal in juices. If you need to flip again, you can. With probe thermometer, check chicken internal temperature (aim is 165 degrees).

  7. When thoroughly cooked, remove from heat and allow to rest.

  8. Serve with rice and/or your favorite veggie (we recommend some grilled zucchini!).
